The Nilgiris MP, A. Raja, inaugurated Tamil Nadu’s first dedicated dog park, established at the tree arboretum in Udhagamandalam, on Sunday (December 21, 2025).
The Nilgiris district administration said the park has been constructed at ₹42.30 lakh and has playing areas for both large and small dogs. An agility course for dogs has also been installed as part of the dog park.
